We’re a small Brisbane-based team—and more importantly, parents of competitive male swimmers.
Like many swim families, we spent years on pool decks, at early morning training sessions, and travelling to meets. Along the way we kept running into the same problem: when it came to boys’ swimwear, the options were always the same.
Plain black. Navy blue. Maybe one or two other colours if you were lucky.
We wanted something better for our own boys—so we decided to create it ourselves.
Born on the Pool Deck
Aqua Element started with poolside conversations between parents who knew the sport well.
Between early morning alarms, long training sessions, and weekends spent at swim meets, we saw an opportunity to bring something new to boys’ swimwear: designs that stand out, without sacrificing performance.
Our trunks are designed right here in Brisbane, with input from real swimmers and their families who understand the demands of competitive training.
